The Food Initiative are an accredited caterer at Chelsea Physic Garden, London’s oldest botanical garden. Established in 1673, the garden is home to 5000 different medicinal, herbal and edible plants.
There are a number of options for private events at Chelsea Physic Garden including the Gallery, a well-lit, airy and spacious indoor room overlooking the garden, the Lower Lawn, a secluded area ideal for day-time gatherings of up to 100 guests, and the entire Garden and Lawn which covers 4 acres and can be used for marquees and weddings.
The huge variety of plants and flowers provide a stunning backdrop for events. A Wedding Ceremony Room is available for up to 70 guests and ceremonies are also permitted in the gardens. Evening events, including candlelit canapé receptions, can also be arranged.
